Made using the ancient oriental process of Keum Bo, these earrings have a 24kt gold starfish fused onto fine silver.  Fine silver (99.9% silver) must be heated to the perfect temperature to cause gold to fuse.  Too hot and the gold melts into the silver disappearing before your eyes.  Hand textures and stamping are added to complete the scene with sand and water. Argentium silver ear wires are included.
