Chrysanthemum Stones are a limestone matrix with andalusite crystals that resemble chrysanthemum.  They are similar to chinese writing stones which feature chines writing characters.   I personally saw a fairy or dragon fly and continued that design theme in part of the bail.  The CZ appears at the top of the pattern and is inset into the underlying stone.  A handmade necklace including black agate beads adds to the beauty and continues with the shapes and designs seen in the pendant. Total length is 18-19" and can be adjusted shorter by simply using a different link in the chain.
