Chrysanthemum Stones are a limestone matrix with andalusite crystals that resemble chrysanthemum.  They are similar to chinese writing stones which feature chines writing characters.   I personally saw a fairy or dragon fly .  The CZ appears at the top of the pattern and is inset into the underlying stone.  The setting includes three layers-- a fine silver bezel, a sterling twisted wire and a half round wire frame.  In keeping with the chinese theme, the bail is a thin hand textured tube adorned with a silver ball.  It comes with a sterling silver neckwire.
