Stones/rocks come in so many shapes and colors.  This cabachon is made from sunny yellow honeycomb calcite.  The chain is the real show stopper made of fine and sterling silver.  The first links include rays from the sun in 24kt gold fused onto the fine silver.  The rest of the links are the same design but hand cut to highlight the sun rays and unique shape of the links.  It's total length including the hand made clasp and stone  comes to 18".  It sits beautifully on the neck.
